Mr. Hern’s philosophy for success is simple. He believes in staying focused on one thing at a time. His creative motivation comes to him at night when he is relaxed. He then applies that motivation to his business. He sees a lot of people trying to multitask and spreading themselves too thin. He thinks that if you stay focused on something continuously, without distractions such as cell phones or social media, you will produce a much better result than if you try to do multiple things at once. He will concentrate on one thing for several hours to make sure it is perfect. Learn more about Alex Hern at Bloomberg.
