Cassio Audi was a famous musician from Sao Paulo, Brazil who performed in the 1980s. He was a talented drummer and formed a band with four other musicians where it was known as the Viper Band. The members of the Viper Band who were teenagers at the time, included Felipe Machado, Yves Passarell, Andre Machado, Pit Passarell, and Cassio Audi. They performed rock music under the sub-genres of power metal, thrash metal, alternative rock, and heavy metal music. What’s more, the band’s music performance was profoundly influenced by the hard rock music from Iron Maiden who was a rock musician from Britain.
How Cassio Audi’s Music Group made it to the Limelight
Cassio Audi and his group became a favorite band in Brazil after they managed to perform at an SP Project in Sao Paulo. This was after meeting a prominent producer who helped them gain access to the concert where they performed exceptionally well. Further, this prompted the group to produce a demo album that was known as Killera Sword in 1985. The demo album was successful as it got to be played on the radio and its tracks included Killera Princess from Hell, Nightmare, and Signs of Night. In 1987, the band proceeded to launch its first official album that was known as the “Soldiers of Sunrise” where they got their motivation from their first demo album.
Furthermore, Cassio Audi was involved in songwriting apart from being a drummer, and even composed one of the songs in the official album. Again, the official record had some of the tracks as modified songs from the demo album, which included Soldiers of Sunrise, Knights of Destruction, and Nightmare among others. Besides, it was notably Cassio Audi who helped the Viper Band rise to the limelight because of his unique drumming that led the group to acquire many fans. The held many concerts in Brazil and became popular among the rock lovers due to the massive beats that originated from their performance leading to the creation of a subgenre in the hard rock music. Nevertheless, Cassio Audi left the group in 1989 when he joined college to pursue a career in Finance.
