Nick Vertucci primarily wrote his book, Seven Figure Decisions, for the students that attend his company’s real estate classes. He founded NV Real Estate Academy which hosts classes around the nation that teach people how to make money flipping houses, owning rental homes, buying commercial buildings, and other ways to profit from real estate.
The book is partially an autobiography and partially a book designed to motivate people to get out of their comfort zone and start taking bold, calculated risks in their lives in order to find true success. He says he has had success a few times in life only to see it all come down around him, just to rise again.
He says that after he entered the real estate industry he had a partner he brought into his company. Nick Vertucci had a cash flow system he designed that was working really well. They would buy properties that had been foreclosed on that they would rent out after fixing them up. Along the way, he came across a guy that owned a real estate training firm.
After they established a relationship with this person, Nick and his partner started teaching classes for his company. They would teach their cash flow system over the course of three days. He also became a student so that he could learn even more about making money owning and selling properties.
Nick Vertucci relates that he was the go-between for the owner of the real estate training firm and his own business partner who didn’t like each other much. Suddenly, those two started to become pals. Nick didn’t see it coming when they tried to take over his share of the company he had created himself.
He says his whole life was wrapped up in his company and suddenly the people he was working with thought he was expendable. As it turns out he wasn’t and his two former friends ran his company into the ground.
Nick Vertucci says he eventually bounced back and started building a new real estate firm. He also developed a passion for teaching his turnkey system of property ownership to others. He says the experience of getting betrayed by his former business partner and the business owner taught him quite a bit and it was something that he grew from.
