The 25th edition of the Sertoes rally was expected to be grueling, and it did not disappoint the challengers were expected to cover 3000 plus kilometers. The route was clearly marked out, but this did not mean that they would be anything done to make the course any easier. In the second stage that was taking place in Santa Terezinha de Goiás (GO) the teams were expected to start taking form and challenge each other as by the end of this stage the line up of who would complete the race where would start to emerge. By afternoon the winners had emerged they included Jean Azevedo (bikes), Cristian Baumgart / Beco Andreotti (cars), Lucas Barroso / Breno Rezende (UTVs) and Marcelo Medeiros (quadricycles). This was important for various reasons usually the second days sets the tempo of the entire rally since the competitors have had a feel of the rally in the second stage and are not testing the limits of their cars. This was day two of the competition and it was surprising that was quieter than the previous one. The stage would take the competitors from Goianésia to Santa Terezinha de Goiás, in the T1 prototype category or simply the car category it is where some good competition was expected and by the end of the stage it emerged that Cristian Baumgart / Beco Andreotti were leading in a time of 7h47min06. Another crowd favorite Michel Terpins / Maykel Justo came in fifth in 8h34min12. Michel Terpins is a Brazilian rally driver who drives the #322 T-Rex.
