Not only is she a kind and compassionate person that wants to help others, but she is an incredibly smart and talented business professional. Currently located in Huntsville, Alabama, Green Structure Homes was built up right in Barbara’s hometown. This is because she wanted her work to be close to home, but also because she didn’t want to leave her community. Barbara Stokes has always been active in her community, planning events and even doing volunteer work where she could. She doesn’t do all of this alone though, Barbara gets a lot of help from her husband, Scott Stokes, with the business and the family. Originally graduation from Mercer Univesity, Barbara Stokes has been working hard to climb the ladder since she graduated back in 2001. Barbara majored in physics as well as an engineer, but she also spent her time learning other skills, like business management, thermodynamics, and property of materials.
