One of the Fastest Rally Drivers from Brazil- Michel Terpins

Michel Terpins is a celebrated rally driver who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He comes from a family of active sportsmen where his brother and father are renowned figures in their various fields of sports. His father Jack Terpins is a former professional player in basketball who was a great defender in Hebraica team in the 60s and 70s. Michel’s brother Rodrigo Terpins is a household name in car racing in Brazil as the brothers share the same talent of the rally racing.

How Michel Terpins made it to the Top in Rally Racing

Michel Terpins began his career in racing in 2002 in the motorcycle category but later changed and joined his brother Rodrigo in car rally racing. After joining the car category, he co-founded a team together with his brother that is known as the Bull Sertoes. What’s more, Michel participates aboard the T-Rex car which is built with the capacity to handle the harsh terrain by the MEM sports team. Better still, he emerges victorious in most the competitions where he participates in T1 Prototypes with his partner Justo.

The Sertoes rally competitions are some of the most coveted cross-country rally races in Brazil. Michel Terpins has participated in most of the seasons as part of the Bull Sertoes team and has over a decade of experience in his racing career. Through the Sertoes editions, Michel has accumulated thousands of fans for his outstanding skills on the rally racing. An instance was the 22nd edition of the Sertoes rally competitions which was marked by a very exhausting rough terrain. However, Michel and his partner were able to scoop the 7th position despite the challenges and had a great performance.

Moreover, the 24th edition saw Michel and his navigator Justo lead in the Prototype T1 category where they ranked 4th place. They were winners in two of the three stages of the 24th edition and took a total time of 11h 45m 23sec. Further, the 25th edition of the Sertoes rally was one of the most exceptional performances for the duo. The race was a long stretch of 3300 km which was the longest race where Michel and Justo seize the 10th position out of a total of 280 competitors.
