The year 2015, greeted the world with surprises, some of which were positive. This year might just go down in the history of the country as one of the crucial changes in 2015 was the formation of the End Citizens United group. This Political Action Committee operates with one sole purpose, to end the adverse effects of the Citizens United law that was passed by the Supreme Court in 2010. While this bill passed by the court, facilitates businessmen and large businesses to invest in politics, this also implies unlimited amounts of uncountable money can be generated into elections to fund campaigns, rig the elections, maybe worse.

The End Citizens United Committee is formed of various board members and teammates that get their funding mainly from grass root level funders. This organization that is geared to end big money in politics believes in preaching what they practice every day. Run on the very principle of a transparent operation devoid of secrecy; this group makes a conscious effort to walk the talk. This committee has taken the right path by choosing to file for the last year with the Federal Elections Commission.
Since the End Citizens United Group promotes transparency in all matters especially political ones, they support Democrats in specific areas, and especially those candidates who are interested in making positive reforms to the campaign finance system. This straightforward group has created a watchlist of Republicans who are most vulnerable to falter; this watchlist is for the next year due to acts they either might have committed or are most likely to perform.
On Tuesday, it was announced that the End Citizens United group had updated its watch list for the top 20 vulnerable Republicans. Out of this list, the four leading vulnerable candidates are Mini Walters, Duncan Hunter, Dana Rohrabacher and Darell Issa. This watchlist is for 2018, and the jury is still out on which Republican candidate will stay in the game by remaining clear of acts that can be perceived as incorrect.
Tiffany Muller, the executive director of End Citizens United, stated that Duncan Hunter has already come under the watchful eyes of the authorities as he is being investigated for possible misuse of the funds assigned to the campaign. Darell Issa is in the lead as well, due to the contributions he received from telecom companies towards campaign funds.
The possibilities for misusing campaign funds with the 2010 laws and limitless, which makes this situation even more grim and dire. The End Citizens United Committee aims to achieve their goal of prioritizing money in politics by going after independent voters. This transparent Political Action Committee has invested approximately $25.5 in the elections of 2016 and is willing to do all they can in the right and justified way to ensure that the elections and campaigns in the country remain clean and transparent, devoid of money that cannot be accounted for.
