After spending a better part of his career in the trading floor, Greg Secker became bored with sitting behind trading screens all day. He decided to look for a new challenge. To this end, he started teaching people about trading. His aim was to provide his students with the same skills and tools that he had gained over the years at the trading floor. He taught trainees and held private sessions with each one of them in joint sessions. This approach ensured that no trainee lagged behind.
As Secker’s confidence grew, he decided to found United Kingdom’s first trader coaching business. The company has been offering mentorship and coaching programs, which are open to experienced and upcoming traders. The two-day program has been successful, as it has propelled Knowledge to Action Group to become a leader in the field.
For Secker, each day is unique. He prefers to spend his day working from home, as it provides him with ample time to look into all the companies in his group. Using modern conferencing technologies, the business leader is able to run a number of business and board meetings right from his home. Most of his time is spent on managing the foundation.
The financial expert prefers creating a mental image of any idea before starting to work on it. This ‘paradise island’ provides him with the opportunity to view the idea from various perspectives. In the process, he is able to develop all the steps necessary to make the idea a reality. Greg brainstorms the idea with his friends and colleagues, who provide new views to it.
