Yosemite National Park to Close for Weekend

During the spring months of the year, one of the nicest places to visit in the United States is Yosemite National Park, which is based out in Northern California. When traveling to this beautiful national park, you can see some amazing sights including animals, waterfalls, lakes, and other flaura and fauna. It is particularly nice during this time of the year due to the warmer weather and fresh feel from melted snow.

While Yosemite National Park is normally a great place to go on a late spring break getaway, those that enjoy camping and hiking will have to find something else to do this weekend. Over the first weekend of April, many people in the area are beginning to brace for the threat of a big spring storm that will bring a lot of rain into the area. This can be a big problem for those that are in the park due to rising water levels from the storm and melted snow. To ensure that all people are safe, they have decided to close the park down for the weekend until the storm is over (http://www.dw.com/en/california-yosemite-national-park-closed-due-to-storms/a-43276399).

Once the park is open again, it will be a great place for people to travel to. Every year, more than 3 million people make their way to the national park as they seek out a wide range of activities and other amazing sights to take in. This can add a lot of excitement and fun to those that choose to come into the area.
